I am a male, about 60 yo, in good health and have gout. I am appalled at the lack of reliable information on the net. One says don't eat tuna fish, another says it is good for you. Which is correct?
I am very fond of pizza but it seems to get me into trouble with gout. Does anyone make their own?
The noise to this point is that black cherry is good for gout, does anyone have experience with it?
I may be fortunate in that I have not had a serious gout attack since August when I had a beef Subway sandwich which really kicked in and caused problems. Does anyone know other places that I should not go?
I have lost nearly 15 lbs. since this happened. My gout diet is no fried foods and no internal organ meats (this would mean no sausage, pepperoni, ets.
Thank you for your support.
