I've had gout for several years, I'm getting no relief from allpurinal so I'm going to try Gout-Relief, I read about it and felt it was worth a try, I'm been in severe pain for the last month or so in both feet, right knee and both hands, nights are the worst! has anyone tried this natural remedy..

Applying Ice for 30 mins helped the pain more bearable , Epsom Salt bath and Flaxseed paste with Charcoal application also helped me when I couldn't get any relief.

" Rhododendron is a common homeopathic remedy for gout. Gout causes severe pain and massive amounts of swelling for the individuals it attacks. Many individuals use a rhododendron supplement to reduce the swelling and pain. Taking 1M in 10 minute intervals (3 total) has proven to be sufficient."
the above advice is what I got on net. tried it. trust me... it worked like magic. after the completion of 3rd dose as recommended. i walked on floors as if there is no gout..... no pains at all....

Sorry, but I believe all homeopathic & alternative remedies are just quackery promoted by liberals who are basically against traditional medicine, which is now in vogue. My feeling is--if you don't need a prescription for it, then it ain't worth using. And I've tried them all. I have never ONCE found an alternative or homeopathic remedy for anything that really worked. I think health food & alternative medicine stores are a waste of real estate. Along with Allopurinol, what works best for me in a flare up is, in this order: Prednisone, Indocin,Colchicine.
No prescription--ain't worth doodly. IMHO.

Only home remedy I found is diet....and it stinks. I have found an all natural product that is amazing and I have not had a gout flare since taking it. 6 months.....and I would get them almost every other month for over 8 years....I have permenant joint damage in knees, left elbow, ankles and feet.
I was very stubborn....LOL.
e-mail me and I will send you some info on it.

As I mentioned in another post, my husband has started to take purixa (purixa.com). so far so good. The website is quite interesting in that it provides a lot of general gout info.
