Well I just had knee surgery on what was supposed to be a Meniscus Tear in my knee but upon waking up I was ask by the doctor "have you been treating your Gout?" I have had gout attacks about a year ago in my foot but I thought I had that under control. I have not had an attack in the past year and I had an MRI on the knee. Can gout be seen on an MRI? My referring doctor was aware of my gout but i was told I had a tear? Im' thinking I may have been misdiagnosed.........$4300 later and I have the same issues I had before the surgery. That sucks
