Hi Everyone.

Not too sure if this is a good idea to start a thread where us users can share with fellow members of different Recipes of meals that we have created and found to be "Good" for us Gout Sufferers.

I would like to find some tasty Recipes that I can make for myself to help prevent and fight Gout attacks.

During attacks, I just get to scared to eat anything....so with Recipes of safe meals to eat from this thread, i am sure it will come in handy one day

good idea???

Cut the green papaya to 1 inch cube, add enough wate into pot 2" above the papaya, add some green tea. Boil in low heat for 20-30 minutes, then drink the tea. Very good to cure a gout attach. Remember you must use GREEN papaya, not the yellow or red ones.

This is Apple Cider Vinegar for Gout Recipe

1 Tablespoon of Honey (This is optional and used make it taste a little nicer)
1 Tablespoon DISTILLED WATER
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar( make sure the Vinegar has its "Mother"in it, this is the
naturally occurring strand-like enzymes of connected protein molecules formed when converting
alcohol into Vinegar... its organic structure is beneficial , plus this generally is only in
Organic, non pasteurized non fermented brews.)

Mix them together and drink. Take this twice a day after meals and see the benefits in a week.
If you want you can add more water. I have also used warm water to help melt the honey and
generally I use organic honey. It can be quite thick, and you can change the recipe and lower the
honey to a teaspoon's worth if you want.

Give this a try, it is worth it. Simple and it works.

I don't drink a lot of water. I actually don't like water unless I have been working out. I will have water is I add flavored mixes to it. (ie. iced team). I also like soda. Are these doing more harm than good?

Try adding fresh-squeezed citrus juice to a gallon of water, or litres. I've been trying 1/2 lemon to 1.5 litres of water a day, drinking it thruout the day, on top of my usual gallon per day.

No veggies, because of gout? Try this:

Zucchini & yellow squash
Saute onion over low heat with olive oil. Add slices of zucchini and yellow squash and cook just until tender. Add garlic and herbs. Goes great with light "fin" fish.

The first thing we need to understand is, protein is not our enemy, sugar is, high fructose and refined sugar are the worst things for gout. That said I would like to mention that I suffered from gout for about two years, do to my high intake of sugar and fructose.
I am actually on a high protein diet (trying to lose weight) I eat, red meat, chicken, beans, and all the high protein foods, although I don't drink soft drinks, juices, don't eat candy, sweets, or cakes. anything like that.
Video to watch ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBnniua6-oM) especially the stuff on gout, sugar, and fructose
I am doing a natural plant regimen, that is not easy specially if you have a busy schedule, but it will sure cure your gout, I don't sell anything, or provide anything at all, this is not my regimen either, I research and this is the best I could find for a cure. Copied this out of a youtube channel.

Naturopathic approach for Gout :( 1/2)

X = Times; C = Capsules = Wk = Week
The following must be taken 5X a wk: 1 tbs. of crush celery seeds, 4 sticks of celery, ½ cup of cilantro, 12 blueberries, 9 cherries, 9 strawberries, 9 Almonds, 2 tbs. of Parsley and drink distilled water( ½ your body weight in ounces for example a 200 lb person would drink 100 oz daily). Also it is a great idea to add alkalizing drops to your water, squeeze fresh lemon liquid into your water and Sprinkling 1-2 tbs. of ground flax seed powder on your food.

Naturopathic approach for Gout :(2/2)

Gingko Biloba 3C; Salmon oil 3C; Cod Liver Oil 2C;Milk Thistle 3C; Folic Acid (B-9)1C; Chlorella or chlorophyll 2C; Nettle 2C; Burdock root 2C; Sarsaparilla 2C; Chickweed 2C; Red Clover 2C; MSM 2C; Vitamin E 1C; Dandelion root 3C; St. John Wort 4C; Turmeric 2C; Valerian 2C
The following must be taken with food 5x a wk: Multi-digestive enzyme 2C; Devil claw 2C; Bromelain 2C. On the two days that you are not on the regimen drink one cup of organic Aloe Vera juice (only one for each day). Never drink soda, artificial sweeteners or sweeten juices.
Avoid using Baking Soda as a treatment because it will lower your gastric acid level, therefore reducing your body's ability to breakdown and absorb certain vitamins and minerals
Hope it helps people as it did with me, thanks.
I am not a doctor, I am just a person that was desperate enough to try this, and happy I did. Any questions. let me know.

[Forget, purine rich foods, forget meat, forget fish, forget alcohol, being the cause of your gout. The real culprit as I
found out after years of testing is FRUCTOSE.Try and reduce or eliminate that and your gout problems will be over.
You will be grateful to me for giving you this information.your doctors might disagree but what do you have to lose,
trying it for a couple of weeks. For me it worked wonders, after suffering from gout for more than 10 years.
