You guessed it, I am here on this site because I suffer gout attacks. Hi to all
It took years before a Doctor diagnosed me with gout, I no I suffered quite a few attacks before the problem was found. I guess the worse problem I have with gout is that if I have some other problem gout joins in. The pain from the other problems is enough but then gout sets in. I hurt my knee in a bike wreck , a couple of weeks gout hit that knee had MRI done it showed no problems. This was before anybody knew I had gout. Twisted my ankle, gout set in after the pain from the injury left. Doctors did not know why I was still in pain after x-rays. Doctor prescribed a steroid pac,did not help. Two days after neck surgery gout hit that ankle and foot again, lived with the gout pain for 4 weeks. Still no doctors new why I was in such pain. I was told by my neck surgeon I needed to walk alot to help my neck after the surgery but I was in to much pain with gout. I had a ingrown toe-nail cut out and it was infected, after two days gout struck that toe. Two months ago I had a superficial blood clot in my left knee 6 days ago gout got it also. Five years ago a new Doctor came to the town I live in and he was the one to find out that I have gout. Now I don't have to suffer weeks with gout pain.
