Please let me know whether gout is an indication for future kidney problems?

Hi there.
It is my understanding that there is potential for kidney stones, caused by collection of uric acid crystals, similar to what causes the gout problems.
But of course it's not the gout causing kidney problems, but your underlying uric acid levels potentially affecting both conditions

Indocin can lower your GFR function. usually reversable when you stop the drug.
