Below is my understanding, pl correct me if I am wrong.
For gout (Gout pain) to occur, it takes quiet long time after your serum uric acid level shots above 5mg/dl. The reason for shoot up of uric acid could be one of the three. 1) food 2) genetic 3) Kidney inefficient to filter-out uric acid. After uric level shoots above 5mg, slowly it starts depositing in your toe joint( typically).Uric acid crystals are needle pointed when the deposition reaches above a certain level. it starts to pain.
if my above understanding is correct, then following are my questions.
1) Why it pains sudden, when the deposition is gradual process ?
2) when pain stops does the crystal of uric acid vanish?
3) How long does it take to shoot uric acid level after first attack of gout. and the time for the uric acid to deposit leading to gout pain.
4) what is the way to find the root cause of uric acid level of shooting. ie. is it kidney failure or food that trigger uric acid generation or genetic.
