My mom has had her hands look like this for years, we finally went to the doctor, and she doesn't know whats going on. She even consulted with another doctor, who recommended she try to drain fluid, but her joints on her hands are not really soft, kind of hard. I guess maybe if you pressed hard enough it would be soft. So the doctor just brushed off the other doctors idea.
We took the X-Rays and the doctor says she doesn't know what the heck is going on becuase her hands on the xrays look good for her age, but clearly if you see her hands its deformed/swollen looking 24/7.
I don't know what to do, I feel so bad, I hate my mom looking like this. Shes not someone to complain about any pain, but im pretty sure it causes pain. She works 2 jobs to make this family run and i'd really not like to see her hands like this.
If anyone has any idea, please let me know. Thank you.
