Been on 150 mgs Allopuirnol for a year. Recent tests show level 6 Uric Acid Dr. kept me at 150 vs goingto 300. Recently having persistent discomfort in left knee and bottom arch of left foot. Pain dissipates after walking a while . Colchicine has helped a little but I don't want to over use this drug. Should I up dose of Allipurinol. Anyone had similar experience? Unlike a flare up this is not going away and I feel like I am getting a gimpy leg. Any thoughts? I am getting ready to go back to Dr. maybe a specialist, but wondered if anyone has had similar experience?
