i just started using allopurinol a little over 2 weeks ago. i was taking 100 mg a day but the doctor told me to increase the dose to 200 mg 2 days ago. today i noticed a small rash on top of my right arm just below the back of my wrist. its slightly red and has a sorta raised whitish bump in the middle. it itches. its only about a square inch in size. i suppose it could be from a bug bite but i didnt notice it until after work and im quite certain no bugs bit me all day.
should i be worried that this could be a rash from the allopurionol? what do those rashes typically look like and where do they usually occur?
