im on 4 week and im taking prednosone the shot relieves pain but only for two days even though i follow up with prednosone it still comes back my gout can last up two three months it has completly screwed up my life .im so glad to have found this site i dont feel so alone. 15 years of bad advise with doctors that dont understand gout .looking for good advise .im ready to do what it takes .and yes i quit drinking so one major problem out of the way
