Hi I am 32 and have severe gout in my knee. What foods can I eat? I am in agony :mad:

Hi Neil,
1) Make sure it is gout by having a doctor extract some fluid from the swollen joint and identify the pointed neddles that characterize sodium urate crystals. If the needle tips are blunt, it is not gout but pseudogout (which will not respond to gout medication, but to thiamine, magnesium citrate and vit D). If there are no needles you have something else: Other forms of arthritis, carpal tunnel, infection, hairline fracture, etc,
