Default 11 Months Gout Free

Hi everybody
Just to let you know that it is nearly 11 months now that I have been Gout free. For those not familiar with my story I achieved that
First by eliminating fuctose for a few weeks
And then reducing fructose levels to a minimum.ie about 15 grams a day.
I now eat purine rich foods such as meats drink beer, and they have not ,any negative effects,on my gout.
It is nice to be able to walk again for miles, before I could not walk round the house.
Best regards to everybody

Good for you! I have been Gout free since last August. I do not drink soda pop (fructose) and do eat lean meat (not processed like weiners and sausage) in moderation.

Good for you too.I am glad someone else has found The way to eliminate gout.My biggest problem is convincing people to try it.Sometimes I think people don't want to be cured , or they are looking for a magic pil.I wish they would experiment more.

I have been dealing with gout for almost 20 years now, I now have it in both elbows, and one shoulder, it is so frustrating how it moves throughout my body day to day. I have lost 30 lbs and was hoping that would help, also I have been eating fruits and veggies almost entirely, but some fish and chicken, I hav e never read that eliminating fructose is the way to go, but I am game for sure, this is my first time writing to a forum, I am wanting to be pain free so bad, good luck to you all, I hope I learn alot from sharing instead of dealing with this on my own, thanks, GT. Also, no alcohol or red meat for the past 3 months, my thing is, maybe I am not getting enough calories, it is the only thing that would make sense, anyway, peace to you all and cheers to getting pain free! GT out!
